Accommodation location and position
Sankt Andreasberg is a climatic health spa resort and is also the highest mountain town in the Upper Harz with an altitude of up to 900 metres. The resort has a distinct ski and hiking area and many attractions in the village and in the surrounding low mountain range. The area has been awarded the title of World Cultural Heritage Site “Oberharzer Wasserregal”with the “Samsonhütte” silver mine.
Not only is the unique nature here in the middle of the Upper Harz National Park fantastically beautiful, but also the thermal baths and the World Cultural Heritage town of Kaiserstadt Goslar, as well as the highest mountain of the Harz of the “Brocken”, which really should be hiked up on foot.
Beautiful cities in the Western and Eastern Harz region invite you to excursions that you will not forget. A special tip: simply book a guided city tour through, for example, Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Blankenburg. There are so many places that will be a dreamlike experience in terms of urban development and history.
