Discover the Surroundings and Sights in the Harz

Wonderfully Quiet and Peaceful – Yet Perfectly Central

The newly constructed holiday complex “Landhäuser BergWiese” was classified with 5 stars – the highest rating – by the German Tourism Association (DTV) in 2014. The complex comprises two apartments (86 and 65 square meters) and two log cabins, each 80 square meters in size, as well as an outdoor sauna cabin, a barbecue hut, and a combined mountain bike/ski storage facility for securely housing sports equipment.

Particularly noteworthy is the very quiet location on the outskirts of the village. Nevertheless, the center of St. Andreasberg, the ski slope, and many cross-country ski trails are all very close by.

The Kurhaus (spa center) and Kurpark (spa gardens), as well as the toboggan run and the new snow tubing facility with a drag lift, are just a 5-minute walk away. Shopping facilities for daily needs, restaurants, doctor’s offices, and pharmacies are also only a few minutes’ walk away.

South-Facing Slope with Magnificent Views

With their south-facing slope, Landhäuser BergWiese offer magnificent views of the Upper Harz landscape, which is worth seeing in every season. Secluded nooks and quiet spots in the garden, on the balconies, or terraces invite you to relax and unwind. All properties are very comfortably equipped and furnished with great care and attention to detail. The numerous extras and amenities on the natural grounds also reflect the personal style of the owners: whether on a group holiday with friends or a vacation with the whole family – you will feel completely at ease here!

Sankt Andreasberg Health Resort: A World Heritage Site

The climatic health resort of Sankt Andreasberg, with an elevation of up to 900 meters, is the highest mountain town in the Upper Harz. Surrounded by an extensive ski and hiking area, St. Andreasberg offers a wealth of attractions in the town and in the surrounding low mountain range.

The historic Samson Pit silver mine in St. Andreasberg was recognized as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010. Definitely worth a visit: it houses the last functioning man engine in the world.

Harz National Park – Much to Discover Here

With its high moors, forests, and reservoirs, the Harz National Park offers unique nature experiences for active holidaymakers of all ages. The thermal baths and the UNESCO World Heritage Imperial City of Goslar are also worth a visit, and for hiking enthusiasts, the Brocken awaits, with an elevation of over 1140 m above sea level, it is the highest mountain in northern Germany. Centuries of history come alive in Goslar, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Blankenburg, and other picturesque towns in the Western and Eastern Harz; guided city tours with expert guidance will help you discover the most beautiful corners and spots.
