On the Witches’ Trail (Hexenstieg), the Harz reveals a particularly fairytale-like and mysterious side. The legendary Brocken is just one of the highlights of this exciting hiking trail that stretches across the entire Harz region. The Witches’ Trail leads from Osterode in the west to Thale in the east. Of course, it can also be hiked in the opposite direction. The path splits at two points, allowing for different route variations.
